About the apartment
The apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a washer and dryer in the unit. Both bedrooms are about the same size and receive a generous amount of sunlight. We've got a kitchen, living room, and laundry - pretty run of the mill stuff.
Your room is the one with teal curtains in the photos, and is available unfurnished. Utilities include electricity, cable, and Internet, and run somewhere between $60-$100/month per person depending on the season. The apartment has central air, which makes the summers more bearable. I've lived here for almost two years and haven't had many issues with the apartment or the building management, and the building's super is pretty responsive. The lease is up for renewal in July, so if this works out, you're welcome to join the lease. First, last, and security expected upon move-in.
About the building
It's one of eight units in the building, which is your traditional Beacon Hill brownstone. The other building residents are mostly young professionals, and everyone seems pretty nice and quiet. We're walking distance to MGH, North Station, Whole Foods, the Charles, Charles Street, and all of the city government stuff. Bonus: we have access to a roof deck, which is open to all building tenants.
About me
I'm in my mid-twenties and work long hours. I'm not home too often, and when I am, I'm either sleeping or taking it easy. I don't mind having friends over every now and then, and I don't mind if you do either. Just be courteous and give me a heads up. I clean up after myself, pitch in for things like toilet paper, and try to be mindful of my roommates and neighbors.
About you
You're employed with regular income or in school with resources for rent. You pay rent on time. You plan on committing to at least six months here, because no one likes apartment hunting or the roommate search. You're fine with pitching in around the house and cleaning up after yourself, and you're good with splitting things like toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. You don't do anything stupid like write on the walls in permanent marker as a way to "express yourself." And lastly, you're not an asshole.
